The Policy & Government Relations Working Group is focused on advocating for policies that promote a vibrant, accessible, and diverse Tech economy. 

This includes addressing issues like access to reliable and affordable broadband, ensuring an ongoing commitment to education that puts tech careers within reach of all residents, and working to remove barriers that separate entrepreneurs from the capital that they need to turn their ideas into viable, thriving businesses.

The Investment & Industry Relations Working Group works to build connections between all members of the local tech community to ensure the free flow of ideas, capital, and inspiration that powers startups. 

This includes organizing and promoting events, building relationships with investors and venture firms, creating spaces where talent can connect and grow, and promoting Queens and the Tech Council vision to the world.

Talent is the lifeblood of the modern economy and the Workforce & Talent Development Working Group is dedicated to activating all the talent that calls Queens home. 

This includes building strong relationships between residents, schools, and employers, proactively developing next generation skills, providing incumbent workers with relevant training, expanding access to STEAM education, and building pathways to Tech careers that are open to all.
