Queens Tech Corner: Alisha Karim and Nicholas Stewart of VitaPath

Can you tell us a little about your company and how you got your start?

IVitaPath grew out of something we kept noticing again and again in healthcare. Once a patient leaves a doctor’s visit, there is often very little clarity about what happens next. That gap can be especially challenging for people balancing work, family, and complex health needs. VitaPath focuses on improving that moment after the visit by helping patients understand next steps in a clearer way. By addressing abnormalities with a personalized road map, powered by biometrics obtained during the visit, such as blood tests and care plans, patients can proactively adjust their lifestyle before leading to major health complications.

What is your latest project, and why are you excited about it?

We’re working on VitaPilot, the next public release beyond our website MVP. Research conducted alongside interviews with clinicians, care coordinators, and patients has helped us pinpoint a meaningful entry into the industry by focusing on where post-visit care adherence breaks down. Our goal is to deliver accurate, personalized recommendations to patients through electronic health record integration while enabling healthcare providers to maintain ongoing post-visit engagement and gain clear insight into each patient’s health progression.
