Can you tell us a little about your company?
WEST X EAST enables brands to co-create with their customers. The design tool offers made-to-order, personalized products through an intuitive digital experience, reducing inventory waste while increasing customer engagement. I started the company after seeing firsthand how outdated and inefficient the MTO and on-demand industry was and wanted to modernize it through technology.
How’d you get your start in tech?
I transitioned into tech as a founder, learning by building products, participating in startup accelerator programs, and raising venture capital. Over the years, I've worked closely with engineers, designers, and AI specialists to bring our vision to life.
What is your latest project and why are you excited about it?
We're excited to launch the next evolution of our company: 3D Configurator powered by WEST X EAST. This AI-powered platform enables manufacturers and brands to offer real-time digital customization experiences, making personalized commerce faster, more scalable, and more accessible than ever before.
Why are you excited about the future of tech in Queens?
I'm excited to see Queens continuing to emerge as a hub for AI innovation and entrepreneurship. Every borough in New York City has developed its own unique innovation ecosystem, and Queens' diversity, talent, and entrepreneurial spirit position it to play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of technology.
As someone who collaborates across New York City's startup ecosystem, I appreciate Queens' incredible global perspective and strong sense of community. It's a place where innovation is driven by people from many different backgrounds and industries.
